How long does car odor removal take?

Plan on most of a day. Extraction and surface work come first, then the car is sealed with the ozone generator for 2–4 hours, and it is safe to drive after 30–60 minutes of airing out. Heavy smoke or an old milk spill can take longer; we tell you after the inspection.

Does ozone treatment alone remove the smell?

No. Ozone sterilizes what is left after extraction. If the source (soaked padding, tar film, uric acid) is still in the car, the smell returns in days. That is why we never run ozone first.

Is ozone safe for my car and for me?

The cabin is sealed and nobody is inside during the cycle. Afterwards the car airs out for 30–60 minutes before it is safe to drive, and we hand it back only after that.

Will the smell come back?

If the source is removed, no. If it does, the 100% written guarantee applies: we return and redo at no charge. The exception is an active leak or active mold growth, which needs its own repair before any odor work holds.

Odor removal or mold removal: which one do I need?
