German engineering applied to every panel. Porsche's precision paint finishes — from the 911's rear haunches to the Taycan's sleek EV body — demand equally precise care. The wrong technique on a GT Silver Metallic panel is immediately visible. The right one is invisible.
The Porsche Paint Standard
Porsche builds each car to exacting tolerances that extend to the paint shop. The multi-stage lacquer application on a 911 or Cayenne reflects German OEM standards — consistent clear coat thickness, excellent UV stability, and outstanding initial gloss. But even Porsche paint deteriorates without the right care plan in South Florida's UV environment.
The Taycan introduces an additional variable: the high-voltage EV powertrain generates heat signatures different from combustion engines, affecting how rear panels cure and how contamination bonds near the battery vents. Our inspection protocol for the Taycan includes specific thermal zone checks before decontamination.
Whether you drive a track-focused 911 GT3 with its aggressive aerodynamics accumulating road debris, or a Cayenne Turbo GT exposed to Miami's coastal salt air, our paint correction and ceramic coating protocols are calibrated to Porsche's specific surface properties.
Porsche Lineup
From the iconic 911 to the Taycan EV, from the practical Cayenne to the track-focused GT3 RS — each Porsche model receives a service plan calibrated to its specific surface characteristics.
The 911's six generations of refinement extend to its paint. Rear haunches, wide-body flares (on Carrera 4S and Turbo models), and the engine lid all require careful attention during decontamination. GT Silver Metallic and Gentian Blue Metallic show paint correction results with exceptional clarity.
Porsche's flagship EV. The Taycan's low-slung silhouette and minimal body lines create long, uninterrupted panel surfaces that reward thorough paint correction. EV-specific decontamination protocols address the thermal management system's interaction with adjacent paint surfaces.
The Cayenne is one of the most common Porsche models in South Florida — and one of the most exposed to Miami's coastal roads, parking lot door dings, and UV radiation. The Cayenne Coupe's sloped roofline adds complexity to the service protocol but rewards it with extraordinary visual presence after correction.
The mid-engine 718 lineup has proportions that display paint condition with high visibility from every angle. The flat-six engine's exhaust placement on the 718 creates rear panel heat considerations during service. Available in stunning colors including Shark Blue and Papaya Metallic.
Track-spec Porsche models with optional Matte finishes require an entirely different care system. We service both standard and matte GT Series Porsche vehicles with dedicated matte-safe protocols. Brake dust and rubber contamination from track use demand thorough chemical decontamination.
The Panamera's four-door gran turismo format combines sports car proportions with executive presence. Its long hood and fastback roofline create an impressive canvas. Panamera owners in Brickell, Coral Gables, and Coconut Grove are among our most frequent regular-service clients.
Our Porsche Protocol
All services are fully mobile. We come to your residence, garage, or estate. A covered area is required for paint correction and ceramic coating application.
Digital paint depth gauges across all panels. Porsche finishes are generally consistent but GT Series models with racing preparation may have been previously corrected — baseline measurement confirms how much material remains. We set every subsequent step to the actual numbers.
Porsche owners who track their cars accumulate iron contamination far faster than standard use. pH-neutral iron removers and clay decontamination address this effectively. For Taycans, we use a voltage-safe rinse protocol near battery access points.
Porsche's multi-stage clear coat responds well to single-stage correction with appropriate compound selection. For GT Series matte finishes, no polishing is performed — only safe decontamination and matte-specific sealants. Standard gloss finishes receive machine correction calibrated to measured clear coat depth. See our paint correction service.
Applied after confirmation of contamination-free corrected surface. Our ceramic coating adds UV and chemical resistance critical for Miami's coastal environment, hydrophobic properties that reduce contamination bonding, and additional surface hardness protecting Porsche's precision finish.
Post-service paint depth readings, inspection photos under LED lighting, and written documentation. For Taycan owners, we include battery charging area care notes. For GT owners, matte maintenance instructions specific to Porsche's factory matte finish recommendations.
Why DShine
Every Porsche rolling through our mobile service deserves the precision applied in Zuffenhausen. Here is what makes DShine the right choice for your Porsche.
Porsche's German OEM clear coat has different polishing characteristics from Italian or American finishes. We select compound aggressiveness and pad type based on the specific model and clear coat depth measured — not a generic exotic protocol.
Porsche GT Series models with matte options require no polishing — ever. Our matte-safe protocol uses dedicated decontamination and sealants that protect the finish without altering the factory matte appearance.
Fully mobile EV service with voltage-safe rinse protocols near battery access points and thermal zone inspection. We understand the Taycan's unique surface characteristics from its EV architecture.
Porsche owners who use their cars on track accumulate rubber transfer, brake dust, and mechanical contamination faster than road-only use. Our track decontamination protocol addresses all forms of contamination systematically.
We bring all equipment, filtered water, and power to your location — no transport risk, no dealer lots, no strangers driving your 911. A covered parking space is all we need.
Paint depth readings before and after every correction service. Written documentation of condition improvement and 5-year warranty documentation for ceramic coating clients.

Matte paint requires a completely different approach than gloss finishes. On a GT3 with Porsche's matte option, we do not polish, compound, or apply traditional wax or gloss coatings. Instead, we use a matte-specific sealant that provides UV and contamination protection without altering the factory matte appearance. The GT3's aerodynamics make decontamination thorough but straightforward.
The Taycan's EV architecture introduces thermal management vents and a large floor-level battery that create different decontamination and safety protocols compared to the 911. Battery access areas require voltage-safe rinse procedures. Beyond those EV-specific differences, the Taycan's large painted panel surfaces respond excellently to machine correction and ceramic coating application.
An uncoated Cayenne in Miami benefits from a professional detail every 3 months given UV intensity, salt air exposure, and the SUV's use profile. A ceramic-coated Cayenne can extend that interval to every 4–6 months with a safe hand wash between visits. We never recommend automatic car washes for any Porsche.
Yes. Classic air-cooled Porsches (964, 993) and early water-cooled models (996, 997) have older paint systems that can be more delicate than modern Porsche finishes. We approach classic Porsche paint with extra conservatism — lower machine speeds, gentler compounds, and more frequent depth checks during correction.
Yes. DShine is a fully mobile service. We come to your residence, condo garage, office, or estate anywhere in Miami and South Florida. For paint correction and ceramic coating, we need a covered space — an enclosed garage is ideal for temperature and dust control during coating application.
