Can polishing remove the dull rings where sap and bird droppings sat?
Usually, yes. Those rings are shallow craters etched into the clear coat, and machine compounding levels the surrounding surface until they disappear. Etching that has burned through the clear into the color layer cannot be polished out - we identify any such spots honestly during inspection.
Is it better to correct the paint before or after the rainy season?
Correction works any month, but sealing matters more than timing. Whenever we polish, we recommend coating the paint immediately so summer storms, sap and sun land on protection rather than bare clear coat - which is why the 5-year ceramic package includes the correction in a single appointment.
