My paint has hard water spots from the sprinklers. Is that fixable?
Usually. Mineral spots that sit on the surface polish off easily; spots that have etched into the clear coat need compounding, which is one of the things our evaluation checks. Severe etching that has penetrated the clear cannot be polished away, and we will say so plainly if we find it.
