Restore Clarity.
Remove What's Damaging Your Paint.
Paint correction is the process of removing surface-level defects — swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation — using machine polishing with calibrated compounds. Unlike wax or quick detailers that temporarily mask defects, correction physically removes them.
South Florida's environment is one of the harshest for automotive paint: UV index 11, salt air from Biscayne Bay, iron fallout from port traffic, and acid rain. Miami vehicles accumulate defects faster than almost anywhere in the US.
Before any ceramic coating: paint correction is not optional — coating amplifies everything underneath it. Every DShine package includes the decontamination and polish protocol required for a flawless result.
How It Works —
3 Steps to Corrected Paint
Every paint correction job follows the same non-negotiable protocol. No shortcuts, no skipped steps.
Inspection & Decontamination
Paint thickness gauge reading on all panels. Iron remover, clay bar decontamination, and IPA wipedown. We document the condition before we touch anything.
Paint Correction
Single or dual-stage machine polishing to remove swirl marks, oxidation, and water spots. Ceramic amplifies what's underneath — so we make sure what's underneath is perfect.
LED Inspection & Protection
Every corrected panel is inspected under direct LED lighting at multiple angles. Then we apply your chosen protection — wax, sealant, or ceramic coating. Before/after photos and depth readings documented.
No space at home?
We'll pick up your car — and bring it back perfect.
If you don't have a covered garage or shaded area, no worries at all — it's actually pretty common. We offer a white-glove pickup & drop-off service so the coating gets done in our climate-controlled studio, where conditions are ideal.
We come to your home, office, or building. You hand us the keys — that's it. No trailers, no flatbeds.
Your car gets the full treatment in a controlled, dust-free environment. Perfect temp. Zero humidity surprises.
Once the coating has cured, we bring your car back — cleaner, shinier, and fully protected. You didn't move.
SiO2 cures better when conditions are right
Florida heat causes SiO2 to flash too fast outdoors. In the studio, we keep it at the ideal temp for slow, even bonding with your clear coat.
A single dust particle trapped under the coating shows up forever. Our studio is sealed and filtered — no surprises during application or curing.
Our studio has professional paint inspection lighting that reveals every swirl and high spot. Outdoors, you're flying half-blind. We catch everything before it gets sealed in.
South Florida humidity can interfere with the 12-hour cure window. Inside our studio, we control airflow so the coating bonds at full strength — longer lasting results.
💬 Just mention "studio service" when you reach out — we'll handle the rest.

What Our Clients Say
Questions About Paint Correction
Answered Honestly
No marketing spin. Real answers to the questions South Florida clients ask most about paint correction.
Paint correction is the process of removing surface-level defects — swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation — using machine polishing with abrasive compounds. In Miami, salt air from Biscayne Bay, industrial fallout from port traffic, and South Florida's year-round UV intensity accelerate paint damage faster than almost anywhere in the US.
If your car's paint looks dull in direct sunlight or shows spider-web patterns, paint correction will restore clarity. We use a paint depth gauge before any polishing to confirm there is sufficient clear coat for correction.
Paint correction in South Florida starts from $299 for a single-stage polish on a standard sedan. Dual-stage correction (cut + refine) ranges $499 depending on vehicle size and defect severity. Our Correction + Ceramic package starts at $999 and includes full dual-stage correction plus a 2-year SiO2 coating.
All packages include mobile service — we come to you in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County at no additional travel charge. We provide a free quote via WhatsApp based on photos of your vehicle before booking.
Yes. We work in covered parking garages regularly — including condominium garages in Brickell, Midtown, and Wynwood. We need a covered space with access to a standard power outlet. Many Miami clients live in high-rises and we service their vehicles in the building garage. We confirm all logistics via WhatsApp before every appointment.
For ceramic coating applications after correction, an enclosed garage is strongly preferred to prevent dust contamination during the curing window. We offer studio pickup if you don't have a suitable space.
Yes — always. Ceramic coating is a transparent layer that bonds to whatever surface it's applied over, including existing swirl marks and scratches. In Miami's high-UV environment, defects are amplified under the coating's gloss — not hidden. Full decontamination and at minimum a single-stage machine polish must precede any ceramic coating application.
We never apply coating to uncorrected paint. This is non-negotiable — it protects your investment and our warranty.
Single-stage ($299): One compound applied with one pad type. Best for light swirl marks, mild water spots, and surface UV haze. Removes 60–70% of defects on a vehicle in good condition. Typically 4 hours.
Dual-stage ($499): First a cutting compound removes deeper defects — then a finer polish refines and eliminates any micro-marring left by the cut stage. Achieves 85–95% defect removal. Required for vehicles with moderate scratches, significant oxidation, or paint that looks visibly damaged in direct sunlight. Typically 6–8 hours.
