What the Canopy Does to Paint on an Acre Lot
Sap is slow-motion acid
Everyone worries about sun; under Pinecrest's oaks the real enemy drips. Tree sap and crushed berries are mildly acidic, and heat cures them into the clear coat until removal means abrasion. On a coated car the deposit lands on the sacrificial ceramic layer instead, stays on the surface, and comes off with an ordinary careful wash. To be clear, the coating does not repel sap; it changes what the sap is allowed to touch.
The professional's daily driver
The typical car we coat here leaves a shaded driveway each morning for Baptist-area offices, Coral Gables, or downtown, then comes home to the same trees. Owners keep these vehicles for years and care how they look pulling up to a client meeting. Full paint correction followed by the five-year Symplex tier is the popular choice: correction removes the etching already there, the coating keeps it gone.
Priced flat, serviced two ways
Gyeon, two years, $799. Gtechniq Crystal Serum, three years, $1,299. Symplex, five years with correction included, $1,599, about $320 for each year of protection. Application happens in your driveway via our self-sufficient van, or, when the drip line makes outdoor work unwise, through pick-up and delivery to our Doral garage studio, where curing is indoors, lit properly, and dust-free.

Can you even work outdoors under all these trees?
Usually yes; a driveway with clearance from the canopy works fine for our van. When a property is fully shaded by active oaks, we recommend the studio route instead: we collect the vehicle, coat and cure it indoors at Doral, and return it. Debris falling into wet coating is the one variable we refuse to gamble on.
Is a coating honestly worth it for a car parked under trees every day?
This is exactly where it earns its cost, with one caveat: you still have to wash off sap and droppings promptly. The coating buys you days instead of hours before damage sets in, and makes removal safe. If you will let debris sit for weeks regardless, no product will save the paint.
Which tier fits a garage-kept car versus the outdoor daily?
The outdoor daily under canopy should get Symplex: five years, correction included, maximum chemical resistance. A garage queen that only sees weekend miles is often perfectly served by the two-year Gyeon at $799, refreshed as needed.
