Work trucks: wet boots and all-day AC

West Palm has more trucks and vans per driveway than any city we serve, and they are the most common mold call here. A landscaping crew climbs in soaked at 7 a.m., the rubber mats trap the water, the AC runs condensation all day and the truck sits sealed overnight. Within a month the carpet under the mats and the back of the seats are growing. We treat these in the yard before the shift or at the job site, the odor add-on is usually needed because the smell has been recirculating for months, and the fix afterward is drilled-drain mats and five minutes of fresh-air AC at the end of the day.

Oak litter in the AC drain

Carpet padding that took floodwater cannot be dried in place; it holds water for weeks and grows mold in days. The flood add-on lifts the carpet, extracts or replaces the padding, and runs a dehumidifier until the reading is normal. If water reached the seat modules we say so.

Horse country and trailer tow vehicles

The tow vehicles that run between West Palm, Wellington and the show grounds carry hay dust, wet tack and dogs, and they sit for days between shows with the windows up. Hay dust in a humid cab is a perfect growing medium, and the smell is unmistakable. We treat these regularly, often at the barn, and the HEPA stage matters more than usual because the dust is the food source.
