What a Visit Brings to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea
Pick the service by what the weekend left behind. Quick Detail at $149 is a wash outside, a wipe-down inside and clean windows, enough for a car that only needs a tidy. Interior Detail at $199 goes deep into the seats, carpet, panels and glass with steam and extraction. Exterior Detail at $249 adds a decontamination wash, clay bar, polish and wax. Car Detailing at $299 covers both ends of the car and is the one most people choose.
Ten steps, in the same order every time. Seven happen outside and three inside: inspection, wheels and tires, foam pre-wash, a two-bucket hand wash, air dry and spray sealant, then tires and trim, followed by steam cleaning, seats, and windows and glass. Each vehicle gets fresh microfibers, and the products are pH-balanced ones from Meguiar's, Koch Chemie and P&S.
You can be at the beach. A Quick Detail runs 1 to 2 hours and Car Detailing 2 to 3, and you do not have to wait nearby or be home. Message us on WhatsApp or SMS, which takes under 2 minutes, and we answer with a price and a slot in about 2 minutes. We work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and the before and after photos land on your phone.

Four questions to ask any mobile detailer
before they touch the family car
Our answers are in writing. Ask the same four of everyone else.
Since 2018
With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the automotive care industry, Evelio launched DShine Details in August 2018 with one van and zero shortcuts. For the first six months he slept in the van to keep costs down and standards up. Today DShine runs 7 certified vans across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, and the commitment hasn't changed. Every vehicle is treated as if it were his own.
What clients say
in their own words.
Sand, salt and a wet-gear weekend,
sorted out one step at a time.
Photos from DShine work around South Florida, chosen to show what each step does for a car that lives a short walk from the beach.

Steam on the wheel and dash
Sunscreen, salt air and warm hands leave a film on the wheel and dashboard. Steam lifts it without soaking the surface, which suits a car parked beside the ocean.

Vacuum first, then anything wet
A leather seat that rode home from the beach holds grit in its stitching. We vacuum before the cleaning starts, so no sand drags across the surface. A condo space with the door open is room enough.

Hot water, pulled back out
A damp towel or swimsuit on a cloth seat leaves water and salt behind. The extractor wand rinses the fabric and draws the dirty water out of it.

Vent slats and dash seams
Sand creeps into vent slats and the seams of a dash, and a dry wipe only pushes it around. Steam and a microfiber cloth lift it out, a good match for short, sandy trips.
Before
AfterThe console after a beach weekend
Crumbs, grit and receipts gather around the cup holders and the mat. An Interior Detail clears them, and a tight surface space is all the van needs.

Polish for sun-worn paint
Salt air and strong sun dull paint over the seasons. Paint Correction from $499 is a machine polish for that. It is a long job of 4 to 8 hours, so we confirm logistics with you before booking.
100% Satisfaction.
Written. No exceptions.
If the result doesn’t meet our standard, or yours, we come back and redo it at no charge. No forms to fill out, no arguing over what “counts.” The guarantee is in writing before we ever touch your vehicle.

Seven feet above the sea,
with a reef 100 yards off the sand.
The town covers about 0.88 square miles of land on a narrow strip, with the Atlantic on one side and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other, at roughly 7 feet above sea level. Salt air reaches every parking space. The nearest major station, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, averages about 61 inches of rain a year, with June near 9.55 inches and September near 8.02. For a household car that means a salty film on paint and glass, spots after every storm and sand that finds the carpet after each beach run. Most vehicles do well with a detail every 3 to 4 months.
Neighborhoods we serve
in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea
A beach portal, a pier lot, a condo slot and a gated driveway each need a different place for the van, so we start with where your car sleeps.
Anglin Square & Commercial Boulevard — Commercial Boulevard runs about half a mile from the Intracoastal to the ocean, and parking along it is paid and tight. If your car lives nearby, book it at your own condo space, driveway or office lot, and we agree the exact spot before we arrive.
Anglin's Fishing Pier — Day visitors reach the pier with coolers, towels and tackle, then drive home sandy. We can meet the car at your hotel, condo or house instead of in a crowded lot and clean the interior there.
El Prado Park & El Mar Drive — Metered spaces sit across from the park, and the low-rise condos and small hotels nearby have assigned spaces and tight lots. Send the guest parking and building access details so we can plan where the van stands.
Datura Avenue Beach Portal — A popular dive and snorkel entry with a rack for tanks. Divers who park close come back to a sandy floor and wet gear in the cargo area, so an Interior Detail with extraction fits well.
Washingtonia Avenue Portal — A beach access point in the El Mar area, with Washingtonia Park close by. Cars park here for a beach day, then head back to a condo or hotel, and that is where we meet them for the detail.
Friedt Family Park — The park on Bougainvilla Drive has a playground plus tennis, basketball and shuffleboard courts. Families carry swim gear, towels and snacks home in the car, and a Car Detailing resets the seats and carpet while everyone is busy elsewhere.
Terra Mar Island Estates — A gated enclave of single-family homes on the Intracoastal, at the northwest edge of town. Driveways and attached garages make a visit easy once the gate is arranged, so send the code or entry instructions when you book.

NOAA normals from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport put yearly rainfall near 61 inches. June brings about 9.55 inches and September about 8.02, so the wet months are not subtle. The town is a thin strip between the ocean and the waterway, so the rain arrives carrying salt.
Drops dry into spots on dark paint and glass, and a thin salty film settles over them. A rinse in the driveway does not lift it. Exterior Detail at $249 uses a decontamination wash, clay bar, polish and wax to leave the surface clean and sealed again.
A dark car shows the spots first. Protector Wax is a $70 add-on, and if you pick two add-ons, the cheaper one is free.
Around Commercial Boulevard and El Mar Drive, parking is paid and turns over fast, and the town runs its own parking permit and ticket system. That shapes how we plan a visit, because a van left at the wrong curb for a morning helps nobody.
So the spot comes first. A condo guest space, your own driveway or a lot where a manager has agreed all work. Our van needs one parking space and access to the car, and nothing more.
If your car sits on a metered street, say so in the notes box and tell us when you are usually away from it. We would rather settle the place together in advance than circle the block.
The town is mostly low-rise, so a typical space is a surface slot or a ground-level space beside a building. That is easy for a van to reach, though it usually involves a property manager.
Send the building name, the space number and whether the space is assigned or open. A front desk or manager number helps even more. If you are out of town, the manager can point us to the car and you approve the price by message.
Some associations ask for paperwork. We carry $2,000,000 in commercial liability insurance, and a certificate of insurance is available on request for HOA and building managers. We choose a corner that keeps walkways, lobby doors and the pool deck clear.
Houses near the Intracoastal usually have a driveway or an attached garage, and the gated enclave at Terra Mar Island Estates sits at the northwest edge of town. Once the gate is arranged, the visit is simple.
We do not need the garage. The van brings its own water and power, so the car can stay on the driveway while your other vehicle comes and goes.
A shut garage this close to the water holds damp air longer than open pavement does. A car that waits there for weeks can come out with stale seats and carpet, which steam and extraction in an Interior Detail at $199 are made for.
Put the gate code or entry instructions in the notes box so nobody is stuck at the entrance.
Winter visitors and part-year residents arrive and the population nearly doubles. The farmers market at El Prado Park runs from December through May, and the beach stays busy the whole time.
Cars are in use every day in those months, and towels, coolers and sandy shoes ride in and out. That kind of car does better with a regular schedule than a single rescue. Most vehicles do well every 3 to 4 months.
VIP is built for the busy season: you pay per visit, with priority booking, a standing day and time, and a rate from $149 per session. VIP+ is 10 sessions prepaid at the best per-visit rate.
The 2020 Census counted 6,198 residents and 6,770 housing units, and 46.4 percent of those units were vacant, a group that includes seasonal and occasional-use homes. A lot of cars here are waiting for an owner to come back.
A car left for months collects dust, and the glass hazes over. The carpet keeps whatever the last trip left behind. Book a Car Detailing at $299 for the week you return, and the cabin is ready when you unlock the door.
Before you leave, pull out towels, wet bags and cooler liners. If a friend or neighbor has a key, we can meet them at the car, and you approve the price by message.
The Florida Legislature named the town Florida's Beach Diving Capital in 2016, and the reef lies about 100 yards from the beach. Datura Avenue at El Mar Drive is a dive and snorkel entry, so plenty of cars come home with fins, a wetsuit and a sandy floor.
Take the wet gear out, rinse it and let it dry somewhere else, since we detail the car and not the equipment. Then tell us about the seats and mats. An Interior Detail vacuums first, then steams and extracts the seats and carpet.
Floor Shampoo is a $70 add-on for mats that took the worst of the sand and salt. Pet Hair Removal costs the same $70 if a dog rides along to the beach.
Hurricane season officially runs from June 1 through November 30, and NOAA says most of the activity falls between mid-August and mid-October. Wind-driven rain pushes salt and grit onto paint and glass, and cars put away ahead of a storm often stay put longer than planned.
We work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and we confirm the day and slot with you by message. If the forecast looks bad, tell us and we pick another slot together.
Once the weather clears, a Quick Detail at $149 takes the film off, and a Car Detailing at $299 does the inside as well.
